Peter Kannberg

Peter Kannberg is a graduate student at Oregon State University. First introduced to methane hydrates while sailing as a technician aboard the JOIDES Resolution during Leg 204, he had the opportunity to sail as a technician full time with IODP after graduating from the University of Rochester with his Bachelors degree. Four years later, he started a Masters Degree program at Oregon State University, where his research interests include bubble plumes at Hydrate Ridge, electromagnetic imaging of hydrates at South Hydrate Ridge, and heat flow modeling off the coast of India.
