Dustin Anctil
Undergraduate Student, UW (Leg 2)
My name is Dustin Anctil and I am an oceanography major at the University of Washington. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. After completing high school, I enlisted in the navy and have spent the last 10 years working in electronics repair and information technology for the navy. I was accepted to an officer commissioning program and started oceanography undergrad studies in 2009. I am now a senior and participating in VISIONS’11 for my senior thesis project which will be analyzing Axial Seamount. I spend every waking moment of my free time caring for my newborn son, but my hobbies include skiing, swimming, video gaming, and collecting Japanese Animation paraphernailia.
