Sulfide Worms On El Guapo

As part of the VISIONS '11 education programs, Dr. Leslie Sautter, professor of geology at the College of Charleston, will lead a marine geology class live via video from the RV Thompson on Thursday, September 1, at 6:30 am PDT (9:30 am EDT).  Tune in to the VISIONS '11 live feed webpage here.

This broadcast is scheduled to will focus on the technologies being used to study the ocean, with Co-Chief Scientist Dr. John Delaney discussing emergent technologies.  Also, several of the UW undergrad students will be highlighted during this final class.
