As the OOI RSN Quality Assurance Engineer, Les Anderson ensures that procedures, documentation, inspections, and testing of RSN components comply with APL-UW and OOI requirements.He has over 20 years of experience in the field of quality assurance engineering and management. Previously, he worked as a quality assurance manager for Kvichak Marine Industries, a manufacturer of custom-engineered high-speed USCG patrol boats. His accomplishments there included writing and managing the quality assurance program for the patrol boats; directing three inspectors; writing inspection, testing and acceptance procedures; and performing surveillance of suppliers.

He has also been a QA manager for Northwest Calibration Systems and Ederer, Inc., a calibration laboratory and a manufacturer of custom-designed cranes and lifting equipment for NASA and nuclear power plants. In Sunnyvale, CA, he was a senior quality engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corp. for the manufacture of Peacekeeper (MX) Missile launch systems.
