Geoff  is a Senior Mechanical Engineer, working on the development of the RSN shallow profiler and vertical mooring systems. Before joining the RSN program, he worked for six years as a Senior Process Engineer at Zymogenetics, where he started up and optimized their clinical manufacturing plant used for the production of novel therapeutic proteins for clinical trials. He has also worked for Weyerhaeuser Company as an Engineering Specialist where he used his expertise to design, analyze, and improve pulp and paper mill processes and unit operations for locations across the United States and Canada. He also led development of mass and energy balance models of pulp and paper mills using commercial simulation software that successfully predicted supply and demand.

A University of Washington alumnus, he received his MS in mechanical engineering and also studied biotechnology at Shoreline Community College. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
