Dennis Manning joined the OOI Regional Scale Nodes team in December of 2010 as the Field Operations Manager stationed at the OOI RSN shore station in Pacific City, Oregon. Dennis spent most of his previous career in operational management and organizational development with direct responsibility for medium to large organizations spanning disciplines from engineering to service operations. Most of his previous career was spent with Sprint Corporation as part of their local operating telco division that is now part of Century Tel. Dennis played key management roles throughout his career in major project roll outs from significant technical upgrades and deployments to leading transitions and organizational shifts. Dennis and his wife, Anne, live in Cloverdale, Oregon, just minutes from the OOI RSN shore station. Having spent most of his happiest times on or near the Pacific Ocean, being part of the OOI RSN project has been an almost unbelievable opportunity for him.
