Cecile joined the OOI Regional Scale Nodes program in November 2009 as the Marine Maintenance Manager. She has been in the offshore survey industry for over 12 years, working throughout the world for various Fugro companies providing expertise in marine geotechnical and geophysical investigations. As a marine geologist, she has enjoyed working in the field collecting data on shore and offshore as part of cable and pipeline route projects, and has participated in the design of numerous undersea systems. As a project manager, she has supported survey operations of transoceanic, coastal, and local cable and pipeline projects, as well as renewable energy initiatives. Cecile joined the OOI Regional Scale Nodes Program to assist in the construction and maintenance of an extraordinary ocean observatory that will engage communities and will contribute to the education and excitement of future generations.
