OSU
Oregon State University, along with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO), is responsible for the Ocean Observatories Initiatives' coastal and global moorings and their associated autonomous vehicles. The OOI Endurance Array will be a series of permanent moorings off the Central Oregon coast. Uncabled moorings will be installed off Grays Harbor, Washington. OSU is one of only two U.S. universities designated a land-, sea-, space- and sun-grant institution. The OSU College of Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences is a leader in the study of the Earth as an integrated system, providing scientific understanding to address complex environmental challenges.
